Drishtie is a Product lead at Development Seed. As a product manager, she has a track record of turning complex, undefined challenges into clear goals that have real-world impact.

She has deep expertise in maps, geospatial data, and AI/ML, shaped by years of hands-on experience. As a co-founder of the Missing Maps program at the American Red Cross, she built a scalable system to help map some of the world’s most remote and inaccessible places in support of humanitarian programs. She then went on to lead teams at Meta that built high-precision 2D and 3D maps using AI/ML for products reaching more than 3 billion users.

Seeing duplicated efforts across the mapping industry, she led the product vision to bring some of the world’s leading mapping companies together around a shared goal. That collaboration ultimately became Overture Maps, an open source of foundational map data. One of her proudest achievements is helping open-source global-scale data beyond commercial interests, making it available for use across industries from climate and logistics to emergency response.

At her core, Drishtie is a builder who thrives on collaboration. She loves the moment when bringing different people and perspectives together produces something greater than the sum of its parts. She leads with empathy, moves with urgency, and never loses sight of the fact that the best products are the ones that genuinely solve problems for the people who need them.
