Please join us and our very good friends from the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) on Sunday, October 22 for GEO4IMPACT. We’ll have drinks, live music by our friend Stuart Frye of NASA, and lively discussion on satellite imagery that benefits the planet.
The event will kick off GEO Week 2017 the annual gathering of the largest network of governments, researchers, data providers, and others working on providing satellite data for social and environmental benefit. We’ll be participating throughout GEO Week, pushing the satellite data revolution and advocating for getting valuable Earth Observation data into the hands of decisionmakers in forms that they can use. GEO4IMPACT will kick off a conversation on new models for analyzing and distributing insight from massive imagery archives in order to quickly and efficiently address disaster response, environmental and social challenges, and global development.
We hope to see you there. If you can make it please RSVP so we have enough drinks on hand.
Follow us on Twitter throughout #GEOWeek17 to participate in the discussion.
