Meet Angela Camacho, our People Operations Specialist.

Raised amidst a rich tapestry of cultures - Venezuelan, Portuguese, Spanish, French, and Argentinian - Angela brings fresh perspectives to our team. Her background and studies in the Psychology of Intercultural Relationships, focusing on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), social psychology, and cultural collaboration, is a cornerstone in her approach to people operations.

Angela's professional path is marked by her work with diverse organizations, both private and governmental. She has been instrumental in implementing DEI initiatives and contributed significantly to various facets of People Operations over her time with us. These include project management, talent and career development, mentoring, recruitment, and learning & development.

Her passion for learning and appreciation of diverse perspectives sets Angela apart. She is committed to fostering diverse and inclusive work environments where creativity and challenges thrive. Angela believes in listening actively and sharing her experiences to nurture others' growth and help them achieve their aspirations.

Her curiosity extends beyond her professional life. Angela is deeply interested in philosophy, art, psychology, and the natural world, always eager to explore new cultures and places.

Angela's role at Development Seed extends to many areas of supporting our strong team culture. In addition to her regular 1:1s with team members, where she supports their professional growth, Angela spearheads our DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) initiatives. Her multicultural insights and dedication to creating inclusive spaces remain invaluable as we embrace our international and distributed team structure.
