DevSeed Data Engineer Leo Thomas will be in-person at the IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS), happening 17-22 July in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. IGARSS convenes around developments and advancements in geosciences and remote sensing.
If you are at IGARSS we'd love to see you at our workshop where you'll learn about the NASA and EO Data Cube APIs for data discoverability and access and ways to use the EO Dashboard for collaborative geo-storytelling. Leo will be co-facilitating the workshop along with our partners Anca Anghelea (ESA), Manil Maskey (NASA), Shinichi Sobue (JAXA), and Stephan Meissl (EOX). The workshop explores the infrastructure that we developed with NASA, ESA, and JAXA to combine new cloud-native data tooling and new approaches to rendering complex earth data in a browser. Enhanced accessibility to cloud data through dashboards allows workshop attendees to build their own end-to-end data-informed stories. You can expect a mix of presentations and hands-on exercises to walk developers and scientists through the process of building indicators of global climate change and stories based on those indicators.
You can catch Leo at the tutorial session on Sunday, July 17th from 9:30 to 17:30. More info/registration can be found at the IGARSS 2022 website.
