We are excited to welcome Will as a product owner!

Will brings strong intercultural communication and broad sustainable development experience to the team. As a product owner, Will is at the center of our engineering teams, partners, and end users. In one of his first projects he will partner with NASA to develop proposals on the future satellite products that enable Open Science. He will work side-by-side with development engineers to ensure the product meets the needs of our end users.

He has worked on numerous environmental, humanitarian and open data projects across several continents. Prior to joining the team, Will worked for the United Nations coordinating the development of an online tool to help humanitarians mitigate their environmental impact. He also worked to promote Open Data infrastructure for urban climate resilience, conducted environmental policy review with Greenpeace, and volunteered to build water and sanitation (WASH) projects in Western Kenya.

Will speaks Chinese after living in China for three years and is learning French. He loves the outdoors and is an avid photographer. His most unique job was cooking pasta at a Chinese supermarket and loves learning to cook different cuisines, especially Thai and Chinese food.
