Ever wonder how to put complex data on a web map? Look no further. Derek and I will be teaching an evening workshop on using d3.js and other tools to visualize data on maps. The workshop is on Tuesday, June 3rd at the DC UberOffice. Join us for a three-hour, fraught-filled quest to conquer scary amounts of data that really has no business walking into a web browser!

We were invited by Data Visualization DC to share our knowledge (and, of course, an unquenchable appetite for learning). It’s not a beginner’s session, but should be fun for anyone who is interested in mapping complex data, knows how to write some javascript, and has looked into d3 before. Check out the details on Data Viz DC’s meetup group.
