We’re opening up the Development Seed garage for the first time this spring to host an open government happy hour** tomorrow (Friday, April 27)**. This event will kick off Transparency Camp, a two day unconference that brings together open data and open government advocates to act to make the government more transparent and accountable. It will be a great opportunity to start the conversation around what’s needed to open up more data and promote open by default within the government and other agencies.

The happy hour will run from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, where we’ll be serving up cold beers and tasty empanadas while they last. Our garage is located at 174 14th Street NW, between R and S streets. We’re off the alley, so walk around back and look for our sign.
