The always fun Transparency Camp is bringing together folks to hack for open government this weekend, and we’re kicking it off with a happy hour here in the Development Seed garage on Friday night. DC Media Makers : The future of books is in hot debate as book stores continue to close and more people are using tablets. Come to this meetup to debate what’s in store for books, and see a new interactive documentary-book from the folks at Arcade Sunshine.

DC Nightowls : Work into the night with other people pushing hard on their projects. This group brings together folks to work together, share their projects, and identify possible points of collaboration.

Open Government Happy Hour : To kick off Transparency Camp this weekend we’re hosting an open government happy hour. Come out to meet other folks pushing for more open data, transparency, and collaboration in the government space and beyond.

Transparency Camp : This annual unconference brings together developers, government folks, journalists, and advocates to discuss and actively work toward making the government more transparent, accountable, and open. Come out to talk about what should be done and start hacking on solutions.
