Basic is perfect if you’re getting into mapping and want to host a handful of maps to show off on your blog or small website.

Standard is our workhorse plan for hosting dozens of maps that need to integrate into your websites and applications. We’ve upgraded this plan for existing customers from 1 GB to 3 GB of storage and 10 GB to 15 GB of transfer.

Plus works well for organizations that need a boost in storage and transfer as they scale up their mapping operations. You’ll have plenty of room to grow.

Premium is for big maps and big traffic. In addition to massive storage and transfer, Premium accounts get dedicated support from our MapBox team, data and design help, 24/7 monitoring, and more.

Direct uploads from TileMill to free hosting

Our map design tool TileMill has gotten easier to use and more powerful over the last few releases. One of the newest additions is direct upload. Use our one-click upload to get your map online after you’re finished designing. If you don’t have an account, we’ll host it free for seven days, no strings attached.

Dynamic compositing

We introduced dynamic map compositing this June and were stoked about its potential to make maps faster and more beautiful. Since then our users have pushed it beyond our expectations creating stunning layered maps with great performance. The latest adjustment to our map builder makes it easy to leverage our library of terrain layers, political boundaries, and clean baselayers as starting points for your own custom maps.

Detailed analytics

We track every tile request that comes into our system to find out who is looking at your map and from where. Our map statistics page shows you a beautiful report with a timeline, referrers, country origins, and a heat map that shows you exactly where your users are looking.

Embed anywhere

Our robust map embeds make putting a map on your website as easy as copying and pasting a snippet of HTML. And all of our maps are mobile ready so your map looks great on your computer and your iPad.
