Today we released our MBTiles connector for the route-me iOS library. This lets developers easily use the MBTiles format for millions of fast, offline map tile images with a free and open source library for iOS apps, just like we’ve done with MapBox for iPad.

If you are a developer, you can get the connector on GitHub, along with the route-me project. The connector is called RMMBTilesTileSource and you can find some handy MBTiles sets to play with over at MapBox.com.
