Yuriy is a GIS analyst intern at Development Seed. He works to design and build open source tools for analyzing and visualizing satellite imagery and geographic data. He has an insatiable curiosity for all things GIS. In his work, he aims to combine various GIS techniques to raise awareness of urban-political issues and find creative solutions through spatial research.

Yuriy is fluent in Ukrainian. He holds a post-graduate certificate in GIS from Fleming College and B.A. in Urban Studies, minoring in Psychology and Political Science, from University of Toronto.
