Sharon supports finance and operations at Development Seed, where she ensures financial systems are well-organized and internal workflows are effective. She plays a key role in maintaining accuracy across day-to-day processes. She is passionate about building sustainable financial infrastructure that empowers mission-driven teams to thrive.

Before joining Development Seed, Sharon brought more than 15 years of experience in financial analysis, grant management, and tax compliance across the higher education, public accounting, and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, she was a Financial Analyst at Columbia University, where she managed sponsored research grants and ensured compliance with both institutional and federal policies. Previously, she served as a Senior Financial Accountant at BDO USA, leading budgeting efforts, financial reporting, and system integrations. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Senior Tax Accountant, advising individuals and organizations on complex tax filings and regulatory compliance.

Sharon holds a BBA in Accounting from Baruch College. She is a licensed CPA in New York State.
