Seth is a developer and designer at Development Seed. He focuses on designing, building, and documenting JavaScript tools for collecting and analyzing data. The tools he builds tell a narrative around client impact and information sharing. A passion of his is designing seamless systems that make front-end development easier.

He’s an avid contributor to the open source community through his contributions to building and maintaining open source software. Before joining the team, he worked as an independent consultant designing, programming, and writing JavaScript and Node.js for clients. He co-founded Open Seattle, a group focused on using open technology for civic engagement in solving local issues.

Seth is a graduate of The Evergreen State College in Washington, where he received a B.A. in web development and journalism.
