Renee is a technical project manager at Development Seed. She helps organize work and tracks time spent in order to effectively manage talent across the team. Her attention to detail and knowledge of geospatial data and infrastructure helps anticipate current needs and plan for future work.

Prior to joining the team, Renee worked with the U. S. Geological Survey (USGS) Earth Resources Observation and Science Center (EROS), where she helped move Landsat to the cloud. She also worked on Landsat’s implementation of the SpatioTemporal Asset Catalog (STAC).

Renee earned a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from University of Pittsburgh along with a Master of Science in Geography with a GIS certificate from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Based in Minnesota, Renee spends her free time listening to music and relearning life skills like gardening and canning.
