Pavel is a member of our Data Team, with a special interest in how OpenStreetMap and machine learning play well together. He is an avid OpenStreetMap contributor and has developed tools that monitor and analyze edits made, ensuring that the map maintains a high quality.

Previously, Pavel worked at Mapbox as part of the Data Team and as a developer for local software companies in Peru. He studied Systems Engineering at the National University of San Cristobal de Humanga. He works out of the Ayacucho office, and in his spare time enjoys listening to music and researching topics related to AI and video games.
