Necoline is a frontend engineer at Development Seed. She builds accessible and intuitive interfaces for geospatial and big data tools. Necoline specializes in frontend systems and documentation and is expanding the developer experience both internally and more broadly for the open source community.
Necoline is passionate about thoughtful user experience, performance, and accessibility and fuses these together to increase the impact of tools in the field. Prior to her work at Development Seed, Necoline built mobile web tools for aid workers in refugee camps. In her free time, she teaches refugees in Kakuma, Kenya how to code and builds tools to help them continue their education offline.
Necoline has an M.S. in international affairs and global enterprise from the University of Utah.
