Laura oversees business development & partnerships, operations and communications at Development Seed. She makes sure that people outside of our organization know who we are and what we do, and she manages the flow of internal operations.
Her dynamic background fuses experience in communications, political campaigns, and international non-profit and think tank work. Prior to joining our team, she worked for Laurel Strategies, a strategic communications firm and global business advisory whose work includes advising clients on the development and execution of strategy, how to maximize positioning and media relationships, and refine communications.
Laura has also worked on the communications team for the 2014 re-elect of Senator Al Franken, worked with an international philanthropy consultant, for The Brookings Institution, and Women for Women International. She is originally from Minneapolis, MN and received her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in Political Science and International Relations.
