Katy leads sales and business development strategy at Development Seed. She works with our partners to develop innovative projects that align with our technical capabilities and mission. Katy is driving growth at Development Seed through a strategic approach to scale our opportunities and impact.

She holds deep expertise in the field of technology for international development and humanitarian response. Katy previously worked at Ushahidi, where she led partnerships for an open source platform for crisis response. She has also worked at GeoPoll and Chemonics International. Katy developed a passion for data-driven decision making while working at AidData during her undergraduate studies.

Katy holds her MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and her BA in International Relations with a minor in Economics from the College of William & Mary.
