Junior is part of the Data Team at Development Seed, and is an active contributor to the OpenStreetMap community, as well as an advocate for open tools.

He is a Systems Engineer from the San Cristobal de Huamanga University in Peru. Before joining Development Seed, he worked as a freelance software developer, and has roots in the education and sanitation sectors. He is experienced in developing GIS applications using a variety of technologies and frameworks, including Java, Python, Node.js, Django, and PostGIS.

Junior is an avid learner and enjoys experimenting with new technologies. Outside of work you can find him riding a skateboard and taking photos.
