Jamison is a cloud engineer at Development Seed. He specializes in building scalable solutions for storing and accessing large geospatial datasets in the cloud and is passionate about projects that improve the understanding of our Earth.

Prior to joining Development Seed, Jamison worked as a contractor to the USGS Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) data center where the Landsat archive is managed. He worked on the Landsat Sentinel Archive and Access team to store, catalog, and generate SpatioTemporal Asset Catalog (STAC) records for Landsat Collection 2 products in the cloud. Additionally, Jamison worked to make that stored data accessible to the public through applications and APIs.

Jamison holds a B.S. in computer science from South Dakota State University. When not at work, he enjoys cycling, drawing, and maintaining his collection of household plants.
