Fanny is a product and data visualization designer at Development Seed with more than 11 years of experience designing data products across climate, biodiversity, humanitarian response, infrastructure, and Earth science. Before joining Development Seed, she worked on projects for organizations including UNHCR, the World Bank, and the World Resources Institute, both within design teams and as a freelancer.

She specializes in the interaction design behind complex geospatial products, turning GIS, multidimensional datasets, and technical workflows into interfaces that feel intuitive to explore and useful for decision-making. She’s particularly interested in the point where data structure becomes product narrative and in the early conceptual stages of shaping a product. After her time at Vizzuality, Fanny joined a climate risk company, where she led a small creative lab working alongside scientists to experiment with new ways of communicating complex environmental data. That work earned her recognition in the Innovator of the Year category at the UK Women in Tech Excellence Awards. Her maps and data experiments at the intersection of science, art, and technology have also been featured by Esri, The Independent, and the Data Visualization Society.

Outside of work, Fanny enjoys reading, writing fiction, growing plants, doing calisthenics, and spending time with her dog, Bilbo. She’s also a serial hobby collector, with past pursuits ranging from archery and taekwondo to ceramics and voice dubbing.
