Danny is the technical people lead at Development Seed. He cultivates the growth of our highly talented and diverse technical teams, builds and refines structures to align the goals of team members and projects, develops a pipeline of top candidates through open source work, and leads broader engagement in engineering and design communities. Danny is passionate about taking complex technical challenges and bringing out the humanity in them. He believes that technologies like scalable serverless cloud infrastructure, machine learning models, ultra low latency live media streaming, smart devices, and data visualization are only as valuable as the people who work on and benefit from them.

Prior to joining the team, Danny co-founded and led engineering at Datamago.com, a web platform for automated forecasting of time series data. He also worked as an Agile project manager with DevelopmentNow, a software development agency specializing in mobile apps and IoT projects. Danny previously worked at Google as a product manager in the Cloud Media group, and as an API software engineer at Microsoft in Xbox Media Services.

Danny has a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University. Outside of work, he plays accordion in a pirate band, loves animals, and goes on trips in his renovated mini school bus.
