Alison is a cloud engineer at Development Seed. She is dedicated to building secure, reliable systems that ensure satellite data is not only available but also accessible to all. Primarily working on the Commercial Smallsat Data Acquisition (CSDA) program, Alison’s focus is on creating tools that support open science and foster collaboration to help better understand our changing planet. Her work helps solve pressing global challenges and informs data-driven decision-making.

Alison holds a B.A. in Comparative Politics from the University of California, San Diego. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, volunteering, anything in and around the ocean, and visiting farmers markets.
