Alex is a remote sensing intern at Development Seed. He works to apply remote sensing techniques to gather insight and improve the presentation of satellite imagery.

Alex has a background in GIS and environmental science and has experience with raster dataset generation, transformation, and analysis in Python, land cover classification/analysis with remote sensing, and field surveys in both terrestrial and marine environments. Alex has worked with researchers at the U.S Forest Service, Penn State, Harvard Forest, the Wildlife Conservation Society, and the School for Field Studies in Turks and Caicos.

Alex will receive his M.S. in GIS from Clark University in the fall.
