DCPHP Beverage Subgroup : Are you a php developer and interested in talking some code, or you looking to dive more into programming in php? This casual meetup brings together php developers to talk over some drinks.

7:00 pm

#DCPython Meetup : This month’s Python meetup will feature a presentation on Pyramid, a small and fast Python web application development framework. Come out if you’d like to learn more about it or about Python in general.

Friday, January 7

7:00–9:00 pm

Drupal 7 Release Party : The open source content management system Drupal is releasing its latest version, and you can celebrate by coming out to the DC Drupal 7 release party. There will be some discussions on what the new release will bring, as well as lots of time to talk to folks using Drupal over drinks.

Saturday, January 8

9:00 am

UX Camp : This day long bar camp will bring together folks looking to share ideas and learn about improving user experience — both online and offline. In traditional bar camp style, there is no set agenda, and all attendees are strongly encouraged to participate.

1:00 pm

Programmer’s Book Club : Ever wanted to know what books you should be reading to quickly get up to speed on new programming languages and techniques? Come out to the kickoff meetup of this new group to discuss programming books and get involved in this new book club.
