UX Show and Tell DC : Come out to talk about usability, show off some sites you’ve recently built, and get and give feedback on the usability of other websites and designs.

DC Media Makers: The Who-What-How: Impact of Community Technology and Crisis Camps : Have you been amazed with how community technology is helping humanitarian relief efforts after the earthquake in Haiti? Wish more was done? Come out to this meetup to talk about how CrisisCampHaiti is helping the relief efforts and its effectiveness.

12:30–1:30 pm

Power of Photography and Multimedia : At this event, DC freelance photographer Amanda Lucidon will talk about how photography can be best used by nonprofits, how it can be tightly integrated into their communications, and how to form partnerships to get better photographs.


Development Matters Meetup : This is a rescheduled film screening and discussion, after the snowmageddons from two weeks ago. Join the makers of the documentary Good Fortune to watch the movie, which is about how international efforts to alleviate poverty in Africa may be doing more harm than good, and discuss its main points.
