Yesterday Eric joined Ric Castro, an information officer at the World Bank, in a presentation on how to make social software work for your team at the Potomac Forum. Ric manages Communicate, the Open Atrium powered hub that 1,000+ people use at the World Bank to collaborate on communications, and talked about the results they’ve seen since adopting the system three years ago. With the Communicate hub, the World Bank has taken a very iterative approach, and Ric shared some amazing metrics showing how listening to the needs of their users has really helped improve buy in.

Take a look at the growth in content and comments over the last three years:

These graphs show the big jump in buy in between the last two releases of the Communicate hub, most recently deployed on an Open Atrium base and previously built on 8trees, the antecedent of Open Atrium.

We’re psyched to continue to work with the World Bank to fine tune their collaboration hub.

What we're doing.
