Next Wednesday the U.S. government will sponsor its first TED Talk (not sure what it’s affiliation is with the “TED Talks”:http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks we all know, but this is how they’re talking about it) at the State Department. The talk will look at how to bring innovation to international development and will “feature speakers”:http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=82489559025 with backgrounds in global health, economics, and technology. We’ll be there in the audience (look for “Eric Gundersen”:http://www.developmentseed.org/team/eric-gundersen), and we hear it’s filling up fast — so fast that it’s expected to be full before the weekend. If you’d like to attend, rsvp to walkermk at state dot gov and be sure to include the requested information (name, affiliation, citizenship, date of birth, driver’s license or passport number).

You can find more information about the event “here”:http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=82489559025.
