Joana is the operations administrator for our Lisbon office. She supports the Lisbon office and our European-based team members, including travel coordination, finance, and operational processes. Before joining DevelopmentSeed, she was a security and quality manager at a biometrics development company. She conducted audits and ensured that all company departments met security and quality standards. She believes that structured internal processes and procedures are the key to team success.

Joana studied accounting and administration and is keen to connect the worlds of finance and process management. She is currently studying for a degree in Systems Information Management. 

When I’m not working or studying, she loves hiking and exploring trails, traveling, and exploring new places with her daughter. She’s passionate about animals, and volunteers for organizations that rescue animals. It’s normal for her to always have a new foster dog at home.
