Jamey is an AWS Earth Data fellow at Development Seed. He applies modern analytical tools to problems in the agrictulture development space. Highly available data plus better modeling techniques means there is an opportunity to make meaningful improvements to agricultural productivity. Jamey is eager to contribute to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Prior to joining Development Seed, Jamey worked with a variety of advisory firms, tech providers, and agribusinesses building renewable fuel supply chains. He brings to the team his experience conducting cross-disciplinary, mixed-methods research, and strives to develop models and tools with real-world impact.
Jamey holds an M.S. in International Agricultural Development from the University of California, Davis, and a B.A. in Biological Sciences and Environmental Studies from Connecticut College.
