César is a data analyst at Development Seed and focuses on supporting humanitarian mapping efforts, validating and improving mapping data for our partners, and scaling our machine learning work.

Prior to joining Development Seed, César worked as a data specialist at Mapbox, and continuously improved OpenStreetMap, which is one of the key datasets powering Mapbox Streets. César holds a degree in systems engineering from San Cristóbal of Huamanga University. In his free time he practices soccer and rides horses.
