Eric is a developer intern at Development Seed. He works to apply computer science and ethnographic design approaches to solve complex problems at the interface of technology and society.

With a background in neuroscience research, Eric has a deep understanding of the natural sciences, with their rigorous standards for data collection and data analysis. At the same time, he is passionate about cultural anthropology, with its focus on the experiential life worlds of individuals living in diverse cultural landscapes. Eric approaches problems from many different perspectives—technical, scientific, humanistic—with the overall goal of finding solutions that can help people.

Eric received a B.S. in Computational Neuroscience with a minor in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University.
