Before joining Development Seed, Sean spent 10 years building Facebook Messenger at Meta, where he developed a knack for reducing complex software down to simple, powerful solutions. With experience in both management and technical roles, Sean has played a crucial role in building everything from foundation infrastructure to user-facing products.

Sean has a BS in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University. He enjoys sailing and traveling with his partner when he's not coding.
