Matt is a data analyst and mapping strategist at Development Seed. Specializing in processing and visualizing geographic data, he utilizes his GIS expertise and design skills to tell stories with maps. With a background in web design, development, and GIS, he works with Wax’s collection of map utilities to ensure our maps look great and function fluidly in the web environment. This combination of skills means Matt is involved in many aspects of a project, from data research to map design to building out fully interactive map apps on the web.
Before joining Development Seed, Matt worked as a freelance web designer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in geographic information science from Michigan State University.
