HaitiAidMap maps hundreds of projects in Haiti being run by dozens of NGOs operating on the ground and lets users filter the data by commune, “cluster” (the issue area a program focuses on), or the organization operating the project. Working with InterAction, we built an early “beta” version of this new mapping platform to visualize NGO activity happening on the ground in near real time. This visual linking of project data is key to improving coordination and resource allocation while transparently showing where external organizations are operating in the country.
