Only 50 Tickets Left for Next Week's OpenGovDC

There are only 50 tickets left for OpenGovDC, a one day deep dive looking at how open source tools can be used to advance open government through real world successful implementations. You can register at OpenGovDC.com, and we recommend doing so soon before the event sells out.

Register for OpenGovDC happening on Tuesday, June 14

If you are interested in using open source technology in the government or other large organizations, OpenGovDC is a great opportunity to learn from people who have done this. Each session will feature technologists from agencies like USAID, the White House, the FCC, and NASA talking about their experiences implementing and managing large-scale government open source web projects, and the challenges and lessons learned along the way.

We'll be participating in "Open Data Unleashed" session, along with folks from the Sunlight Foundation, Department of Education, and New America Foundation, and the "Telling Stories with Maps" with people from the FCC and the Business Civic Leadership Center, who we've worked with to map floods in Pakistan and the earthquake in Japan. Check out the full schedule and speakers.

OpenGovDC is happening on Tuesday, June 14 at the Wooly Mammoth Theater in downtown Washington, DC. Hope to see you there!

If you can't make the main event, there will be a happy hour at Hill Country BBQ after that's open to everyone.
