Announcing a private support channel for Open Atrium users

Starting this summer, the Development Seed team will offer private paid support for Open Atrium. The idea is simple. Open Atrium has awesome free support on community.openatrium.com, but some organizations need more hands-on, dedicated support. As its creator, our team has a unique perspective on all things Open Atrium, from its inner workings to best practices for its implementation. We're launching a private support service to help take special care of users.

Open Atrium Support will Rock

Our support service will be targeted directly to the developers at organizations running Open Atrium. It will focus specifically on answering questions and assisting with installation and setup, configuration, any core Open Atrium issues, upgrading assistance, theme changes, optimization, and best practice advice, including choice of hardware and operating system. We will not be supporting custom Atrium Features or doing custom work as part of our support offering, just helping users leverage all the core parts of Open Atrium. We are looking at offering two packages right now: a Basic package and a Full package that will differ based on number of support tickets allowed and response time. Our target is to price the basic package under $2,000/year and the Full package at approximately $5,000/year.

This support service is not going to cover custom work or consulting. This is where the Partners Program for Open Atrium will come in, which you will be hearing about a lot more about in the next month.
