It feels like fall has arrived in Washington, DC, with some serious fall weather over the weekend, a back to capacity city with Congress back in session, and protesters filling the Mall over the weekend. In line with that, there’s a lot going on in the local tech world this week, with several interesting meetups schedules. DC Drupal Meetup: Do you code with Drupal, use a site built on Drupal, or just want to know what all the hype is about? Come out for this meetup to meet local Drupal developers and hear about the latest projects they’re working on and news from the greater community.

DC Area Online News Association Meetup: Curious as to what public media is doing to weather the storm that is journalism right now? At this meetup, folks from NPR, PBS, NewsHour, and Capitol News Connection will talk about one initiative - EconomyStory - they’re testing out to share stories about the economy.
