After wet and dreary weather for almost all of last week, we’re experiencing a much needed change - with sunny and much warmer weather in the forecast for this week. Media Future Now: Come out for a discussion on privacy and legal issues as they relate to the mobile and social media. Speakers will include a representative from Facebook’s Causes app, and a lawyer who specializes in privacy and information security issues in telecommunications.

DC Drupal Meetup: If you’re a Drupal developer or user, or are just interested in learning more about one of the leading open source CMSs, you’ll want to check out this meetup. There will be several short talks about Drupal modules and news, followed by lots of time for casual conversations over beers.

Alfresco Meetup: This meetup will cover the latest news from Alfresco, an open source, enterprise specific CMS, including information on their recent DoD 5015.2 certification for records management, CMIS implementation, and their cloud developer kit. They’ll also be demoing how Alfresco integrates with Drupal, so if you use either CMS, this should be an interesting event.
