Washington, DC Drupal Meetup Tonight

The new Feeds module, other Drupal-related conversations, beer, and foosball

The October Washington, DC Drupal meetup will be tonight, October 19, at 7:00 pm at Stetson’s. Alex Barth will give a talk on Feeds, a new aggregation module for Drupal that’s the successor to the FeedAPI and Feed Element Mapper modules that is easier to use and more extensible.

October DC Drupal Meetup

Aggregation is a timely topic with Phase2 Technology releasing Tattler app - a topic monitoring tool - last week and us gearing up to launch Managing News - a data and news aggregator - this week. Both tools are built on Drupal and open source, and both shops will be at the meetup to answer questions about the tools and how they aggregate content in Drupal.

As usual, the floor will be open to anyone who would like to give a five minute lightning talk on a Drupal related topic. Just come prepared to talk and speak up during the round of introductions. More details on the meetup can be found in the DC Drupal group. Hope to see you tonight!
