DC Drupal Meetup Tonight: WhiteHouse.gov, Managing News, and OpenPublish

And a raffle to win a free ticket to Do It With Drupal

The November Washington, DC Drupal meetup is tonight at 7:00 pm, and it should be a fun one. We have three presentations lined up:

  • Dave Cole and Macon Phillips from the White House New Media Team will discuss the new WhiteHouse.gov platform, which was recently rolled out on Drupal.
  • Alex Barth will demo Managing News, a fully open source news and data aggregator built on Drupal.
  • Jeff Walpole will discuss OpenPublish and how the distribution is being used by publishers to launch high traffic websites.
