Spring weather hit the District this weekend with two downright beautiful days, and it looks like our luck will last through the week with highs in the 50’s or above through Friday. If you can resist the temptation of hitting the park or an outdoor deck for happy hour after work, come out for a couple of the tech events happening around the city this week.

Monday, February 9

DC Drupal Meetup: Drupal is a leading content management with a large local community, so if you’re not familiar with it – or all the people behind it – come out tonight to learn more about the platform and meet Drupal developers over a few beers.

The Art and Practice of Internet Forensics: What a sexy name for a meetup, especially for all the CSI addicts our there. Tonight Dr. Hal Berghel will discuss internet forensics, what this means and how to go about it, and how it differs from the more commonly understood computer forensics.
Wednesday, February 11
7:00 – 8:00 pm
DC PHP Developer’s Group: If you’re looking to hone your php skills, this is the meetup for you. At this event, Brandon Savage will talk about XDebug, a robust php extension for advanced error handling, stack tracing, application profiling, and variable printing. Come out to learn how to use this extension and talk with other php developers.
