GeoDC will hold its second-ever monthly meetup on Wednesday, August 26th starting at 7:00 pm. The meetup will kick off with a round of introductions, followed by short 15 to 20 minute presentations from a few guest speakers. We’ll then open up the floor for five minute lightning talks from anyone who would like to share ideas or news about what they’re working on. We’ll save plenty of time at the end for informal networking and conversations over beer and foosball.

GeoDC is a new meetup group aimed at getting together people who are doing mapping work in Washington, DC, to share knowledge, brainstorm, and network. For this month’s meetup, we’ve invited speakers from the World Bank, DAI, InSTEDD, Casey Trees, and Mapping DC.
